Almost two weeks ago, I have received my Fonera from FON. What is FON? Well, I think you can already go to this website to read about it.
What have I done with this Fonera? Well,
it has became a Wifi hotspot. If you come along to
Lyon to visit me, you will be able to reach it (its
name is FON_RENAN). My neighbor noticed it right away because her computer
suddenly connected to my Access Point. She
ran to my door asking to me what had I done. I am sure my explanations were
confusing. I promise I will write this article about it soon, but I am quite
busy now.
FON is not an open system, but if you are already a Fonero, you can connect for free. Here is a link for a map of the FON hotspots.
I am now waiting for Neuf to complete its agreement so that I will have two hotspots: one in Lyon (Neuf) and the other one in Grenoble (Free + Fonera).
