The European Union has launched its own YouTube channel. This way, it will be able to promote some of its actions through short movies. I personnally think it is a good initiative because some European citizens feel the European Union is a lot of bureaucracy and nothing concrete. However, what will be the real impact of this:
- who knows that this account exists in YouTube?
- what is the ratio of persons watching movies through YouTube on the Internet vs watching TV programs?
I guess it is cheaper to broadcast these films this way.
